HEADSETS- Repair burnt pixels in LCD LED screen

If you find yourself with a burnt image in one of the lenses of your headset, it usually means that a passthrough image has been burned into one of the LCD LED screens. This happens because the headsets hasn't been turn off in a very, very long time or because the lenses have been exposed to direct sunlight.
All of this is advised by the manufacturer and stated in the manuals. Please see the next example with HTC:

We have found a workaround that may delete or reduce the pixel burn in the headset, this procedure has been done with an HTC VIVE FOCUS 3 headset. We think that the same procedure can be used in other headsets like Meta and PICO but we cannot assure it.

HOW TO REPAIR PIXEL BURNT LCD LED LENS:

- Put a sticker in the tracking sensor that is between the two lenses, doing that will prevent the headset from losing tracking at any moment.

- Ensure that Sleep mode is set to never in Settings/Advanced/Sleep mode.

- Open the VIVE Browser application and select YouTube or type it in the search bar.

- Search for LCD Image/Pixel burn fix stuck pixel burnt videos, this is the example video I used in my test.

- Play the video and set it to 360.

-Charge the headset and leave it at least one hour to see if the flickering has been reduced or removed, you may need to repeat this process a couple of times.
